ScanStation and getscanstation.com are operated by DLM Innovations LLC, a New York limited liability company (New York Department of State ID 6270230).

This policy covers consulting inquiries and engagements with DLM Innovations LLC, doing business as DLM Innovations Consulting (“DLM,” “we”). It does not cover ScanStation. ScanStation has its own privacy policy at https://getscanstation.com/privacy. The two products do not share customer data.

DLM Innovations Consulting is a name used by DLM Innovations LLC, a New York limited liability company (Department of State ID 6270230). It is not a separate company.

1. What we collect

Name, email address, company, and what you tell us in an inquiry or on a call.
Engagement details you send us: scope, files, and correspondence.
Payment status if you hire us. Card numbers are handled by the payment processor. We do not store a full card number.
Ordinary email and server logs needed to receive the message and keep the mailbox secure.

Do not send us Shopify API secrets, bank passwords, or ScanStation show data. We do not need them for a consulting engagement.

2. How we use it

We use this information to answer the inquiry, perform the engagement, invoice, keep tax records, and secure our mailbox. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to advertise ScanStation to your customers. We do not train a public AI model on your files.

3. Who we share it with

We share it with the payment processor for a paid engagement, with a host or email provider that carries the message, with professional advisers under a duty of confidentiality, and with authorities if the law requires it. We do not share consulting files with ScanStation customers, and we do not put them in the ScanStation app.

4. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and engagement records while the matter is open and afterward for as long as we need them for the engagement, a dispute, or tax. Then we delete them. Billing records are kept for the period tax law requires.

5. Your choices

Email david@dlminnovations.com with the subject “Consulting privacy” to ask what we hold, to correct it, or to ask us to delete an inquiry. We may keep records the law requires us to keep.
